Abstract:
To provide a method forming a barrier that stops the flow of blazing alloy to a surface or an inner cavity of a part that is processed by blazing.
An adequate amount of stop-off slurry including alumina and polyethylene oxide binder is applied to the surface or inner cavity of the part. Hardened stop-off material is formed in the surface or inner cavity of the part by drying the slurry and also hardening the binder, and the barrier stopping the flow of blazing material is formed therein.
