Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent foreign matter from biting into an electroplated steel sheet.
CONSTITUTION: An anode 25 is arranged close to the upper and lower faces of the steel sheet 24 traveling horizontally through dumb rolls 21 and 22, and a plating soln. is supplied between the steel sheet 24 and anode 25 to electroplate the steel sheet. The plating soln. is injected toward the part where the electroplated steel sheet is squeezed by the rear dumb rolls 22 by a slit nozzle 1 from the upstream side of the rolls 22. A turbulent flow of the injected plating soln. is generated close to the surface of the steel sheet 24, and the foreign matter in the plating soln. depositing on the steel sheet 24 surface is released by the turbulent flow.
