Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scale adhesion and fixation preventing method for a toilet wastewater pipe by which only adhesion and fixation of scales to and in a toilet wastewater pipe is prevented without removing scales adhering to the toilet wastewater pipe and without causing corrosion and the deterioration of purification performance of the toilet wastewater pipe.
SOLUTION: A molded body containing a solid acid as an effective component is used for preventing scale adhesion and fixation and the molded body contains 20wt.% or more of the solid acid and/or a substrate (excluding sublimating substance) or a sublimating substrate and the solid acid does not produce a salt with <0.001g/100g (of water) solubility in water in a pH range from 5 to 8.5 by reaction with a calcium ion and has (0.2-20)g/100g solubility and the substrate has (0.001-0.2)g/100g solubility at 20°C water. Only adhesion and fixation of scales can be prevented without removing scales adhering to and fixed in a toilet wastewater pipe by keeping the pH of urine or mixed wastewater of urine and washing water at 5-8.5.
