Abstract:
To lower possibility of leakage of print information of a user via a print job name.
A mode for coding (encrypting) (530) a specific field in job information 522 including the job name is prepared in a printer driver 523 (or a local spooler 525). Configuration allowing a switch between a normal mode 510 and a coding (encrypting) mode 520 is structured (500). The job name is not directly displayed in the spooler 525 on a print path (526). The local spooler 525 has a function for decoding and displaying. By this structure and the functions, a user can secure secrecy by a simple setting.
