Abstract:
To improve convenience of a printer connectable to a plurality of devices.SOLUTION: A printer connectable to a plurality of devices has: communication control means which performs session connection with one of a plurality of connected devices and receives a printing request from the device session connected; and paper discharge means holding printing paper to be discharged until it is removed by a user. The communication control means disconnects session with the device being session connected that has received the printing request when all the printing based on the printing request ends and the printing paper where an image is printed by the printing is removed by the user and, in performing printing based on the printing request, notifies the device being session connected of an occurrence of a first error when the first error occurs during printing, and notifies the plurality of connected devices of an occurrence of a second error when the second error occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
