Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a dense W-Cu or Mo-Cu heat sink material almost free from residual pores and excellent in heat conductivity with high productivity.
CONSTITUTION: A kneaded body consisting of W powder and/or Mo powder, Cu powder, at least one kind of powder selected from among Ni powder, Co powder and Fe powder and an org. binder is injection-molded. Part of the binder in the resulting molded body is removed by immersion in a solvent, the remaining binder in the molded body is removed by heating in nonoxidizing atmospheric gas and then the molded body is sintered.
