Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soft polyurethane foam which consists of stable and highly durable cells, and has low-density and high-elasticity.
SOLUTION: A soft polyurethane foam which has excellent durability low- density and high-elasticity is obtained by reacting at least (A) a low NCO polyisocyanate which contains NCO at 2-15 wt.%, and is obtained by reacting at least (a1) a polyoxyalkylene polyol which has a nominal hydroxyl value of 2 or larger and a hydroxyl functional value of 20-60 mg KOH/g which is obtained by adding ethylene oxide at 25 wt.% or less to its end, and by dispersing, into A at 1 wt.% or more, a vinyl monomer or polymer fine particles which are obtained by polymerizing polyisocyanate and an active hydrogen- containing compound having a molecular weight of 18-200 and (a2) an organic polyisocyanate, (B) a high NCO polyisocyanate which contains NCO at 25 wt.% or more, and (C) an isocyanate reactive composition which contains at least water.
