Title:
SELECTIVELY LIGHT-ABSORBING RESIN MOLDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3885850
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a molding excellent in durability under high-temperature high-humidity conditions, etc., by forming a selectively light-absorbing layer on the surface of a molding formed from a composition containing a product of hydrogenation of a polymer obtained by the ring opening polymerization of a monomer mixture comprising a specified norbornene derivative.
SOLUTION: A selectively light-absorbing layer is formed on the surface of a molding formed from a composition containing a product of hydrogenation of a polymer obtained by the ring opening polymerization of a monomer comprising a norbornene derivative or a mixture thereof with a copolymerizable monomer and a selective light absorber (e.g. green colorant Solvent Green). In the formula, A and B are each H or a 1-10C hydrocarbon group; X and Y are each H or a monovalent organic group, provided that at least one of them is a group other than H and a hydrocarbon group and is a polar group (e.g. COOCH3); and m is 0-2. The selectively light-absorbing layer is desirably e.g. one formed by coating the surface of a molding with a coating material containing a selective light absorber.
