Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely affording vinylene carbonate in high yield and purity.
SOLUTION: This method for producing vinylene carbonate comprises performing a dehydrochlorination of chloroethylene carbonate with an amine in a high-boiling solvent consisting of an ester or hydrocarbon with a boiling point of 170-300°C.
