PURPOSE: To obtain a waterproof sheet having deaeration groove, by laminating a thermoplastic resin on one surface of a substrate sheet such as nonwoven cloth and transferring a thermoplastic resin paste to the surface of the resin layer with a screen gravure roll, thereby forming interconnected grooves on the surface.

CONSTITUTION: A surface of a substrate sheet 1 made of e.g. woven or nonwoven polyester cloth is laminated with a thermoplastic synthetic resin having adhesivity to said sheet to form an adhesive layer 2. A thermoplastic synthetic resin paste is transferred on the adhesive layer 2 with a screen gravure roll, immediately treated with a leveling knife to level the surface of the paste layer and gelatinized with heat to obtain the objective waterproof sheet having deaeration grooves and integrally laminated with a resin layer 3 having interconnected grooves 4. Since the protrusions 5 formed by this process has flat surface, the sheet has broad adhesive area to a concrete surface to improve the gripping performance and the groove can be stably maintained with little deformation.
