Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform multicolor painting on a chamfered part 8s of a projected corner column A formed with the chamfered part 8s having unevenness at an apex angle part 3.
SOLUTION: A small-diameter painting roll 40 fed by a feed means 20 and capable of entering a recess 8b of the chamfered part 8s of the projected corner column A is used as a painting roll 40. A gravure printing roll 50 serving as an intermediate roll abuts on the painting roll 40. The gravure printing roll 50 also abuts on the peripheral surface of a paint supply roll 36 with a large diameter for drawing up a paint 49 in a paint reservoir 48. The paint 49 on the paint supply roll 36 is transferred to the painting roll 40 with the sufficiently small diameter via the gravure printing roll 50 forming a pictorial pattern, and applied to the chamfered part 8s therefrom.
