Abstract:
To provide a protective film having also a function as a liquid crystal- aligning film for preparing a liquid crystal display element excellent in a displaying performance enabling spacerless elements at a low cost, and to provide a liquid crystal display element excellent in display performance equipped with the protective film.
The protective film is obtained by applying rubbing treatment to an organic film formed from a specific radiation-sensitive resin composition.
