Abstract:

To obtain a DNA useful for producing RNA helicase having anticarclnogenic, antiatherosclerosis, immunodepressive, antiinflammatory, antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial activities, etc.

This DNA codes a protein or its part which can bind to nucleic acid, has properties of a helicase and ATPase on estimation and whose mRNA increases the expression under the influence of leflunomide, and especially has a DNA sequence of the formula. The DNA is originated from the derivatives of a human cell strain or mouse cell strain A20.2J, and can be obtained e.g. by screening a cDNA bank prepared from a human skeletal muscle with a sequence of hs1/hs2.
