Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pruning device inexpensive as a whole with simple structure, smooth in reciprocating sliding motion of the saw edge, capable of easily exchanging the saw edge, also capable of preventing its parts from being lost during saw edge exchanging operation and protecting the gear case from being contaminated with refuse, etc.
CONSTITUTION: In this pruning device so designed as to be equipped with a converter 30 to convert the rotary motion from a prime mover into reciprocating motion, a saw edge 61 subject to slidably reciprocating motion in the longer direction by an output from the converter 30, a gear case 40 housing the foot of the saw edge 61 and the converter 30, and a gear case cover for covering the bottom of this gear case 40, the gear case cover stands dividedly, and the profile of the 1st gear case cover 42 divided is provided so as to be a little larger than the contour of the foot 61a of the saw edge 61 along this contour, where the foot 61a is situated inside the gear case body 40 and the upper dead point position is a position where the saw edge 61 is drawn out in its edge point direction to the upmost.
