Abstract:
To provide a punching capable of effectively increasing a temperature at a position of a curving initial point of a protruding margin of a slot sheet in a step of expanding and opening the protruding margin projected from a slot of the slot sheet inserted into the slot of a stator core.SOLUTION: A punching is used for a step of expanding and opening a protruding margin projected from a slot in a slot sheet inserted into a slot formed on a stator core held by a stator in a stator manufacturing step, and is heated at a prescribed temperature. The punching comprises: an insertion part inserted into the slot; a gimlet-shaped formation part which is connected to the insertion part on a side opposite to a tip of the insertion part and which is for expanding and opening the protruding margin; a first projection part that is formed along a radial direction of the stator core at a border between the insertion part and the formation part and is projected to a peripheral direction of the stator core, and in which a front face is a curvature face; and a second projection part that is formed along the peripheral direction of the stator core at the border between the insertion part and the formation part, is projected toward the radial direction of the stator core, and in which the front face is the curvature face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
