Title:
PUTTING SIMULATION DEVICE AND PUTTER USED THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05337230
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To execute training of putting by a simulation without executing the putting in an actual distance.

CONSTITUTION: On one end part of an artificial lawn 1, the vibration face 2 on which plural vibration plates 2a, 2a... are arranged and formed is provided, and on the reverse sides of the vibration plates 2a, 2a..., vibration sensors 3, 3... are attached, respectively. From the other end of the artificial lawn 1, a ball is hit out with a putter, and hit against the surface side of the vibration face 2. Magnitude of vibration of the vibration plate 2a against which the ball is hit is detected by the vibration sensor 3, and magnitude of shock force which the vibration face 2 receives by the ball is measured by a vibration measuring instrument 4. By inputting in advance a relation of the shock force which the vibration face 2 receives and a rolling distance of the ball to an arithmetic processor 5, the rolling distance of the ball is calculated from the magnitude of the shock force obtained by the measurement. Also, from an output of the vibration sensor 3, the vibration plate 2 against which the ball is hit is discriminated, and based thereon, the rolling direction of the ball is calculated.
