Abstract:

To determine the quantity of an additive contained in resin without using a standard sample of the resin formed by containing the additive in the resin in quantitative analysis of the additive in the resin.

In a quantitative method for determining the quantity of an additive contained in resin by thermodesorption-gas chromatograph mass analysis, a standard sample containing resin and an additive of the same type as the one, an object for quantitative analysis, contained in an analysis sample is created, and the quantity of the additive contained in the analysis sample is determined by using the created standard sample. The quantitative method includes the respective processes, a standard additive sample creation process, a standard additive sample analysis process; an analytical curve creation process, an analysis sample analysis process; and a quantitative process, a standard additive sample is created according to types of the additive and the resin contained in the analysis sample by the standard additive sample creation process, a standard additive sample analysis process, and the analytical curve creation process, and an analytical curve to be used for analysis of the additive in the resin is created by using the standard additive sample. The quantity of the additive contained in the analysis sample is determined by using the analytical curve created in the above process by the analysis sample analysis process and the quantitative process.
