Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radar apparatus capable of detecting even a target in a short distance.
SOLUTION: When a target is located in a short distance, anyone of four feeder probes is used for transmission without using a transmission-reception switch, the sum of electric powers of received signals provided by the three remaining feeder probes, and differential signals therebetween the detected, and the distance, the angle of elevation and the azimuth of the target are obtained based on the sum and the differential signals.
