Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it unnecessary to normally hold a power supply for a radio equipment in ON state and to suppress futile power supply to the radio equipment.
SOLUTION: This radio data communication system connects plural data processors respectively having radio equipments and capable of executing radio communication to a common external power supply with a power supply line. A host device 2 connecting radio master stations 5-1 to 5-2 with a data transmission line 4 has a means for transmitting a message for commanding the ON of power sources for respective radio slave stations to respective OPS terminals 111 to 11m, 1n1 to 1nm through a power supply line 6. In the other hand, respective POS terminals 111 to 11m, 1n1 to 1nm have means for turning on/off power sources for radio slave stations 311 to 31m, 3n1 to 3nm included in themselves, and at the time of receiving the power supply ON command message through the line 6, drive the switching means to turn on the power sources of respective radio slave stations.
