PURPOSE: To provide a lightweight radio-wave absorbing panel produced easily with excellent radio-wave absorbing characteristics over a wide range covering all the TV frequency band.
CONSTITUTION: A radio-wave absorbing panel 10 is made of potassium silicate containing 10 to 50wt.% ferrite powder with or without a filler. The radio-wave absorbing panel 10 is made of a plate body 12 with each groove parts 16 on the face thereof, and a plurality of ferrite tiles 14 are continuously mounted in the groove parts 16. The plurality of grooves 16 for the ferrite tiles 14 are formed in parallel with spaces of 10 to 50% of the width of the groove part 16. In addition, a metal mesh 18 for reinforcing mechanical strength is embedded in the panel body 12. A cosmetic board 22 made of potassium silicate containing ferrite powder may be stuck on the faces of the ferrite tiles 14.
