Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail electric vehicle for a slope land capable of solving various charging problems.SOLUTION: A rail electric vehicle 1 for a slope land includes: a motor 2 operated as a regenerative brake for a rail 10 arranged in a slope land 50; a battery 3 for storing regenerative power generated from the motor 2; and control means 5 for controlling regenerative charging from the motor 2 to the battery 3 so that a vehicle speed falls within a predetermined range by increasing/decreasing the regenerative power in proportion to the steepness in the downward gradient of the rail 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
