Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely decode, to an original data, information visualized on a surface of a recoding medium or device by being converted to a two-dimensional code.
SOLUTION: The position of a position detection marker corresponding to orthogonal two directions is detected based on a center position of a black part surrounded by a white part having the position detection marker, by a marker detection part 216, from imaged data obtained by imaging a two-dimensional code such as a dot code 170 by an imaging part 204; recoverable data and error correction data are specified based on the position of the detected position detection marker, by a data arrangement direction detection part 218; the specified data are subjected to a deinterleave process by a data line adjustment part 192; an error of the data subjected to the deinterleave process is corrected by a data error correction part 194; the data with the error corrected are restored to data before conversion to a two-dimensional code by extension processing parts 238, 242, 248, 256 and the like.
