Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3498604
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear suspension structure of an automobile, which is inexpensive, and which can enhance the support stiffness of a suspension by a large degree.
SOLUTION: A hut-like cross-sectional shape reinforce 5 is joined to a side surface of a rear side member 2 in an arrangement corresponding part in the lower part of a shock absorber bracket 3, and is fitted and joined thereto with the lower part of a hut-like cross-sectional wall part 3b of the shock absorber bracket 3 which is accordingly joined to the rear side member 2 through the intermediary of the reinforce. With this arrangement, the shock absorber bracket can be inexpensively and simply jointed to the rear side member so as to allow the vehicle skeleton member to bear an input load from a suspension. Thereby it is possible to enhance the support stiffness of the suspension.
