Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a viewer to surely view an important part of a program that is broadcast on a different channel without failure.
SOLUTION: When a discrimination section 11 detects an important part of a 2nd program that is broadcast on a different channel, an output interface 5 outputs the 2nd program in place of a 1st program so far been outputted. A recording and reproducing section 6 records the signal of the 1st program for a period when the 2nd program is selected, and when the important part of the 2nd program is finished, the recording and reproducing section 6 reproduces the signal of the 1st program for the period when the 2nd program was selected and the recording and reproducing section 6 records the 1st program being received by a reception section 11 at the same time.
