Abstract:

To reduce the amount of computation required for the detection of interference band.

A receiver comprises: a band suppressor for suppressing and outputting a signal of a part of subcarrier included in a received signal; a decoder for decoding output signal from the band suppressor and obtaining a received bit string; an error detector for detecting whether the received bit string decoded by the decoder has error or not; a replaced subcarrier setter for changing a subcarrier of which signal is suppressed by the band suppressor until the error detector does not detect an error in the received bit string; and an interference band detector for generating a received replica signal from the received bit string in which no error is detected, and detecting an interference band which is a frequency band where an interference wave exists within a frequency band of a desired wave, based on an error amplitude obtained by subtracting the received replica from the received signal. The band suppressor suppresses the signal of the subcarrier corresponding to the interference band when the interference band detector detects the interference band.
