To provide a reclining bed device capable of having the storage function as well as the reclining function.
The bed device comprises a bed frame 1 with a head board 3 at one end in the longitudinal direction, a floor board unit 7 disposed at one end on the head board side of the bed frame, and a storage unit 8 disposed at the other end on the opposite side of the head board of the bed frame. The floor board unit consists of a unit frame 11 detachably engaged/held in the bed frame, a movable floor board 31 whose proximal end is rotatably attached to one end located on the opposite side from the head board of the unit frame, and a driving mechanism 24 disposed in the unit frame for driving/raising the movable floor board. The storage unit consists of a box-shaped body 35 and a storage case 48 stored in the box-shaped body in such a way as can be taken in/out. One side face of the box-shaped body 35 is open, and the upper face of the box-shaped body is almost as high as the upper face of the movable floor board when the movable floor board is laid down.
