Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redox flow battery system the state of charge of which can be understood accurately, and a control method thereof, and to provide a power generation system using this redox flow battery system, and a control method thereof.SOLUTION: At least one of a positive electrode electrolyte and a negative electrode electrolyte is an electrolyte to be inspected, and a physical property value having correlation with the state of charge of the electrolyte to be inspected is measured by measuring means 201. State of charge calculation means 203 calculates the state of charge of the electrolyte to be inspected by using the measurement results and predetermined correlation of the state of charge of the electrolyte to be inspected with the physical property value.
