Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a reel lock mechanism for the reel capable of easily mounting a pawl opening spring to reel lock pawls and the assembling method thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Two coil parts 14a, 14b which are supported by a pair of reel lock pawls 12, 13, and a pair of pawl opening arms 14d, 14e respectively pressing pawl parts 20c, 20c are provided on the pawl opening spring 14, and pawl side stoppers 20f are provided on the pair of reel lock pawls 12, 13. Also, main body side stoppers 11e capable of engaging with the pawl side stoppers 20f are provided on a main body 11 of the reel lock, then the spring force is generated on the pawl opening spring 14 by the engagement of the pawl side stoppers 20f and the main body side stoppers 11e, thereby the pair of reel lock pawls are pressed.
