Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and quickly cut a top tape wound around a take-up reel with a weak force by fixing the take-up reel after removing one side plate from the reel and moving an edged tool.
CONSTITUTION: When a lever 15 is turned in the direction G, a tool rest 12 moves straight ahead and an edged tool 10 mounted on the rest 12 is pressed against and cuts a tap tape 3 wound around a take-up reel 2. After cutting, the lever 15 is returned to its original position 15' and the cutting operation is completed. When the hand is removed from the lever 15, the tool rest 12 returns to its original position due to the restoring force of an elastic body 18 and the cut tape 3 naturally drops down into a dust box from the relief section of a jig base 11. Since a top tape cutting jig is constituted to remove the top tape from the reel 2, the top tape can be safely and quickly removed from the take-up reel when the jig is used.
