To provide a remote conference system with improved convenience in sharing information in a remote conference using user terminals carried by conference participants.

In a remote conference system, a conference server 1 and a data management server 2 are connected to foothold systems 10, 20 including conference connection devices 12, 22 via a network 3, and the sever 2 stores contents for the usage of user terminals 16-17, 26-27 for each one of the footholds 10, 20 and transmits the contents to the footholds 10, 20. The server 1 transmits data IDs to the server 2 on the basis of individual identification information of the user terminals 16-17, 26-27, data IDs for identifying data to be shared among users, and conference connection device identification information, that are acquired through the conference connection devices 12, 22, and associates the individual identification information with the device identification information to manage the information by conference session units for identifying a conference. The server 2 transmits a content corresponding to a data ID to the individual identification information received from the server 1.
