PURPOSE: To exchange opinions about medical examination by sharing picture data like photographs between doctors in places distant from each other.

CONSTITUTION: The doctor on the side or a terminal equipment 10 inputs a picture like an X-ray photograph from a picture input device 12 and inputs his comment about it from a voice input device 14. These data are transmitted to a terminal equipment 11 through a communication line 22 by an electronic mail. The other doctor opens the mail by the terminal equipment 11 to reproduce the picture and the voice, and he communicates his opinion to the doctor on the side of the terminal equipment 10 by telephone or the like. Since one picture data is shared between two terminal equipments 10 and 11, two doctors can exchange opinions by telephone sets 24 and 25 while marking the picture.
