Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely easy renovation method of a pipeline, without requiring to block a hard plastic liner difficult to handle because a flexible tube is sealed after the tube is fitted to the tip of the liner inserted into the pipeline.SOLUTION: A renovation method of a pipeline for installing a liner 4 made of hard thermoplastic material in a pipeline 1 includes the steps of: air-tightly fitting a tube 6 having airtightness and flexibility to the outer periphery of the tip of the liner 4; inserting the liner 4 pressed down flat and bent into an approximately U-shape into the pipeline 1, hermetically sealing the free end of the tube 6 at the liner 4 projecting from the pipeline 1, heating the liner 4 to be softened, and introducing a pressure fluid into the liner 4 to expand along the inner surface of the pipeline 1.
