Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restart the operation in the state before power-off or system down without retransmission from a host computer to a gateway at the time of start ing the gateway.
CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a gateway 7 consisting of a data transmission/reception means 10 which transmits and receives data, a reception processing means 12 which enqueues management information of data in print queues 15 corresponding to printers respectively and performs the print file storage processing, a transmission processing means 14 which transmits management information based on print queues corresponding to printers and a print file, and a recovery operation means 18 which additionally writes management information of print queues in the file and reads out management information of the file at the time of the start of the system to recover the queuing state in a prescribed print queue 15. The end status is given to management information, and it can be sorted.
