Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a resin composition for vibration-damping vibration- controlling metal plates capable of suitably controlling the peak temperature of vibration-controlling performance, adhesive strength, etc., by adding a basic alkali metal compound to a copolymer containing an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid (anhydride) in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer containing an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid (anhydride) in a ratio of 0.05-10mol% as a copolymerization component is compounded with a basic alkali metal compound (e.g. sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide) as an ionically crosslinking agent. The ratio of the unsaturated carboxylic acid in the copolymer is preferably 0.1-10mol% in the case of a monobasic acid and 0.05-5mol% in the case of a dibasic acid.
