Abstract:
To provide a resin particle that can develop the high degree of pigmentation and have high charge stability.SOLUTION: A resin particle according to the present invention includes a base particle having a binder resin and a pigment having an isoindoline skeleton. In a cross-sectional image of the resin particle, with the major axis of the base particle as L, when a resin particle surface layer is defined as an overlapping area where a transit area of a circle C with a radius (L/10) when the center of the circle C moves along the contour of the cross section of the base particle and the cross section of the base particle overlap each other, the pigment having the isoindoline skeleton in the resin particle surface layer is present at less than 30% to the pigment cross-sectional area of the cross sections of all the pigments having the isoindoline skeleton in the cross-sectional image of the resin particle. The base particle has a gel fraction of 20 mass% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
