To provide a rest facility which utilizes rain, allows people enjoy whatever the weather, creates affluence and healing in a town, makes users friendly with nature and global environment, and contributes to forming communication among people.
In the rest facility, an umbrella part 3 is installed on the upper part of a support 2 erected on the surface of the outdoor ground while a footbath pond 8 is provided in the vicinity of a foot part of the support 2. A solar cell panel 9 and a recess 4 for collecting rain water are provided on the top of the umbrella part 3. Accordingly the rain water collected in the recess 4 flows down along the support 2 and passes through a filter device 6 to be stored in a water storage tank 7, which is installed in the vicinity of the support 2 or in the ground under the support 2. The rain water in the water storage tank 7 is supplied to the footbath pond 8 by using electric power generated by the solar cell panel 9.
