Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide newly installed riser members with which an existing stair can be accurately and efficiently reformed and a construction of a neatly reformed stair with newly installed risers and treads.
SOLUTION: A newly installed riser member A made by protruding a fixed portion 2 with a small width rearward at a right angle at a bottom portion of a the riser portion 1, this fixed portion 2 is fixed to a rear portion near the front of an existing riser 11 of the stair, an existing riser 11 is fully covered and concealed by attaching the rear surface at the upper end portion of the riser by nailing a tread 3 of a newly installed tread 3 laid on the top surface of the existing tread 13, a tread 3 of a newly installed tread B is laid on the top surface of the existing tread 13, and the upper end portion of the tread 1 is covered with an end rail 4 hung at a right angle downward to the front end portion of the tread 3 in the construction.
