To dispense with a special actuator to automate a clamp unit by operating the clamp unit making use of the motion of a robot for industrial use.
A robot working device comprises a work fixing jig 1 provided with a toggle type clamp unit 3 to fix a work W on a frame 2, and a robot 11 for industrial use having a welding torch 14 on a tip of an arm 12. An abutting plate 20 to be abutted on a spherical grip portion 10a at the tip of an operation lever 10 of the clamp unit 3 is fitted to a side of the arm 12 of the robot 11 through a rubber plate. The welding work is achieved to the work W using the welding torch 14, the arm 12 of the robot 11 is swung in the transverse direction following the preliminarily taught content, and the operation lever 10 is tilted by the abutting plate 20 at the side to unclamp the clamp unit 3.
