Abstract:

To obtain a high toughness ferrous welded metal excellent in welding workability in all position, porous resistance and toughness by containing specified contents of C, Si, Mn, Ni, Al, CU and N.

This welding metal is contained by wt.% of 0.01-0.15 C, >0 to ≤0.5 Si, 0.5-2.5 Mn, 0.1-3 Ni, 1-2.5 Al, 0.05-1.5 Cu, 0-0.1 N and satisfies [Ni]+[Cu]≥0.7%. IT is desirable to satisfy FP≥0, wherein FP =[C]-0.145[Si]+0.014[Mn]-0.456([Al]-[N]×27/14)+0.231[Ni]+0.3[Cu]+0.393 and [C], [Si], [Mn], [Al], [N], [Ni] and [Cu] are mass % of C, Si, Mn, Al, N, Ni and Cu. Further, Mo is contained by mass % of 0.005-0.12. In this way, the high toughness welded metal which can form the excellent welding workability in all position, can be obtd.
