Abstract:
To provide a robot that makes it possible to cope with an obstacle and to simplify a structure.SOLUTION: A robot 100 includes: a self-propelled carrying vehicle 110; at least one robot arm 120A, B, mounted on the carrying vehicle; a raising/lowering device 140 mounted on the carrying vehicle and that raises/lowers the at least one robot arm relative to the carrying vehicle; a change device that changes a gravity center of the carrying vehicle; and a control device configured to control operations of the carrying vehicle, at least one robot arm, the raising/lowering device and the change device; wherein when there is an upward level difference in a traveling plane, which is present in a first direction as a traveling direction of the carrying vehicle, the control device causes the change device to operate so that the gravity center of the carrying vehicle is shifted to a second direction opposite to the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
