PURPOSE: To perform film breadthwise positioning accurately by positioning a variable carrying stop part at two positions before and behind the projection of a film carrying path and using it in common to carry plural films having different tip parts.

CONSTITUTION: Although films F1 and F2 are both 16mm films, a leader tape T provided to the film F1 is 20.5mm width and the width of the tip part is winder. The carrying path 14 used in common for both films F1 and F2 is provided with reduced guides 86 and 87 as a carrying reduction part 14a which maintains elastically the minimum carrying path width adapted to minimum film width and is expansible. The guides 86 and 87 are added to a side plate 14C as elastic tongue pieces extending in the direction of film take-up advance and their tips are formed into inward projection arcuate guide parts 86a and 87a which cause no catch and variation in film width in both take-up and rewind carrying directions of the film, thereby maintaining the minimum carrying path width at any time.
