PURPOSE: To provide the titled roll shortening the stop time of rolling for gas adjustment by fitting a sleeve for rolling to an arbor via a medium sleeve and by making the adjustment of the sleeve gap easy with reducing the pressure of a medium sleeve annular pressure chamber and releasing the close-fitting of the sleeve.

CONSTITUTION: Sleeves 5, 6 are fitted to an arbor 1 via a medium sleeve 2 and fastened by applying a pressurization 7 on an annular pressure chamber 4 of the medium sleeve 2, in a rolling roll 3 close-fitting at least more than two sleeves 5, 6 for rolling to the arbor 1. When the pressurization 7 is reduced, the sleeve becomes slidable in axial direction. The sleeve gap is adjusted by the rotation adjustment of the screw fitting mechanism which is between the sleeves 5, 6 or by operating plural pistons and cylinders mechanisms 16, 17 which are between the sleeves 5, 6. The sleeves are close-fitted with the pressurization 7 once again. The time for the stop time of rolling for gas adjustment is shortened remarkably.
