Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce cost on the execution of works by setting the width of each roof panel at positive integer tomes to the module width of a constant length together with the reference width of a roof surface, in which these roof panels are joined mutually and formed in one surface, and the width of a roofing tile.
CONSTITUTION: In a hip roof 1, the centers 13 of columns disposed at the corner sections of a building are placed just under inclined ridges 3, the reference width L of roof surfaces 4A, 4B is set as a distance between the centers 13, and the reference width L is set at positive integral times to the module width (a) of constant length together with the width Wi of each roof panel 6 and the width D of roofing tiles. D=a×1 (L), Wi=axmi and L=a×n hold. (where the relationship of positive integer times satisfying 1<mi<n holds in 1, ml and (n)). When reference width L is changed, the hip roof 1 can cope only with the roofing panels 6 having the mounting pattern of preset roofing tiles 5 by altering the width of the adjusting panels of W3 at every module width (a), thus reducing cost on the execution of works.
