In order to remove a roof 16, vent mine timberings 22, upper frames 24, frame support beams 28 are assembled on a plurality of heavy weight carrying vehicles 23, and the heavy weight carrying vehicle 23 is traveled and moved under the roof 16, and an upper end of a roof support strut is cut in a condition that the roof 16 is supported from downward by the vent mine timbering 22, upper frame 24, and the frame support beam 28, and the roof 16 is loaded on the vent mine timbering 22, upper frame 24, and the frame support beam 28, and a plurality of the heavy weight carrying vehicles 23 are traveled, and the roof 16 is conveyed to a designated site. These procedures are substantially performed in reverse, so that construction of the roof 16 can be easily performed.
