A rotation type washing device for an automobile glass is provided with a washing unit 1 for washing the automobile glass G; and a movement mechanism 2 in which the washing unit 1 is arranged at an opposed position of the automobile glass G. The washing unit 1 is provided with a rotation disc 3; a motor 4 for rotating the rotation disc 3; a movement base 5 for connecting the motor 4; a guide 6 for connecting the movement base 5 movably in a horizontal direction and moving the rotation disc 3 in the horizontal direction along the automobile glass G; and a horizontal drive mechanism 7 for moving the movement base 5 in the horizontal direction along the guide 6. In the rotation type washing device, in the state that the rotation disc 3 of the washing unit 1 is arranged on a surface of the automobile glass G, the horizontal drive mechanism 7 moves the movement base 5 along the guide 6, the movement mechanism 2 moves the rotation disc in the horizontal direction along the automobile glass G, and the rotation disc 3 rotated by the motor 4 rubs the surface of the automobile glass G to wash it.
