Abstract:
To provide a rotor for a rotary electric machine that achieves both relaxation of stress concentration and weight reduction.SOLUTION: A rotor for a rotary electric machine is provided with: a first hole which is configured by a first side, a second side facing the first side, on a radially outside, and being shorter than the first side, and two third sides connecting the first side and the second side, and in which each of the first side and the second side crosses a d-axis; a bridge portion that connects the adjacent first holes together, and is located on a q-axis; a swaging portion located on a radially outer side of the bridge portion, on the q-axis; and a second hole which is configured by a fourth side located on a radially outer side of the swaging portion, an apex portion facing the fourth side, on a radially outside, and two fifth sides connecting the fourth side and the apex portion, and in which each of the fourth side and the apex portion crosses the q-axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
