Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route information system that can set destinations and guiding pathways planned by users even when they do not know the geographical condition around the destinations.
SOLUTION: The route information system starts the voice recognition of commands input from a mike when detecting a PTT switch pressed during voice-guiding each subject to be guided on the guiding pathways. The voice guiding is performed from the subject before the voice-guiding subject or the next subject thereof when the voice-recognized command is the next set command or a return set command. Reconfiguring and resetting of the guiding pathways are performed based on the type of the voice-guiding subject and the voice-recognized command in case of commands other than the above.
