To provide a rubber composition for studless tires which is mainly intended for use in a tread part of a studless tire and achieves both on-ice performance and wear resistance performance at a high level.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for studless tires contains 1-40 pts.mass of a copolymer resin (a) being an acid-modified product of a copolymer of coumarone, indene and styrene and 10-150 pts.mass of an inorganic filler, based on 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber containing 30 mass% or more of a butadiene rubber and a natural rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: None
