Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition for a tire which is excellent in external damage resistance due to high hardness of rubber and flexural fatigue resistance, and to provide a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire contains, based on 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber containing a natural rubber, more than 50 pts.mass and 80 pts.mass or less of carbon black I having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 55-160 m/g, 3-35 pts.mass in total of an acid-modified polyolefin and a polyamide polyether elastomer, 1.6-3.6 pts.mass of sulfur, and a vulcanization accelerator. The mass ratio (sulfur/vulcanization accelerator) of the sulfur to the vulcanization accelerator is 1.1-3.0. The pneumatic tire is formed using the rubber composition for a tire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
