Title:
SACCHARIMETER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3814077
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a saccharimeter in which the surface of a prism can be cleaned easily.
SOLUTION: A saccharimeter is provided with a sample cell 3 having a measuring section 5 sealed with a packing 4, an optical system unit 14 which projects light upon a sample injected into the measuring section 5 while the surface (a) of a prism 20 is brought into contact with the measuring section 5 through the packing 4 and receives the reflected light of the projected light, and an attaching plate 6 to which the unit 14 and cell 3 are attached and measures the saccharinity of the sample from the refractive index of the sample. An opening 16 is made through the attaching plate 6 and the optical unit 14 is attached to an optical base 15 which has such a size that can be housed in the opening 16 of the attaching plate 6 and a light projecting and receiving hole 17 and is attached to the surface D of the attaching plate 6 in such a state that the unit 14 is brought into contact with the surface (a) of the prism 20 through an O-ring 18 provided around the light projecting and receiving hole 17. On the other hand, the sample cell 3 is detachably attached to the other surface C of the attaching plate 6.
